How to Create a WordPress Website in Seven Steps

How to Create a WordPress Website in Seven Steps: As the world of website creation changes and evolves, one thing remains true: WordPress is one of the best platforms to use when starting your own website. You can choose to have your site hosted and managed by someone else or you can install WordPress on your own server, but whichever option you choose, you should be aware of the following basic steps that will help you create a WordPress website in seven easy steps.

Choose Your Domain Name

Before you can create your website, you need to choose a domain name. It’s the part of the address that comes after http:// and before com. Your domain name is often the same as your business name. To pick one, think about what makes your company unique and try some variations on that theme.

Choose a Web Hosting Provider

Choosing the right web host for your website is the most crucial first step. You’ll want to choose one that offers the features you need and has a good reputation. Here are some questions you should ask yourself before making your decision:
Do I need unlimited storage?
Do I need email accounts?
What other services do I want my provider to offer?
What’s the cost?

Set Up Your Domain and Hosting

The first step is setting up your domain and hosting. If you already have an idea for the name of your website, then you can register it as soon as possible. Otherwise, you’ll need to do some research on what domain names are available, find one that is not taken, and purchase it using a domain name registrar like Namecheap or GoDaddy. Once you’ve purchased your desired domain name, the next step is setting up your hosting. This process is simpler if you are experienced with computers or have someone knowledgeable help you out. All that needs to be done here is signing up for web hosting service with a company like SiteGround, Bluehost, DreamHost or InMotion Hosting.

6) Upload and activate any plug-ins that you plan on using for uploading images (such as Jetpack), downloading comments, posting links on social media sites, etc.

Choose a WordPress Theme
